I am a sophomore at the University of Iowa majoring in International Studies with and emphasis in International Relations and Politics. I plan to delve into some photojournalism along the way. I interned with the Iowa UNA spring semester of 2010, and my passion grew for human rights. The blogs I write will concern a human rights issue, and will mention any international conventions or treaties, as well as U.S. legislation on the issue. My aim is to strengthen awareness on human rights abuses to implement greater action and respect for equality.
